About Our Vaccine Services
The Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department offers a wide range of vaccines for children, teens, and adults. Our trained public health nurses provide safe, affordable immunization services to help keep our communities healthy and prevent the spread of infectious disease.
We accept all insurance plans.

We offer the following vaccines at all our locations. Some vaccines may require advance ordering — call ahead if you have questions.
⚠️ Insurance & Billing: Please bring your insurance card to your appointment. If you are uninsured, vaccines may be available at low or no cost. Call us at (402) 375-2200 to discuss options before your visit.

Vaccines for Children Program
Vaccines for Children help parents pay for vaccines they couldn’t pay for on their own. VFC can reduce up-front cost of vaccines.
We allow children to get vaccines while in office.

Sharps Drop Off
We have a free, easy, and anonymous sharps drop-off. Drop off your sharps any time we are open. Proper disposal of sharps helps keep people healthy and safe.

The VFC program provides free vaccines to children 18 and under who are Medicaid-eligible, uninsured, underinsured, or American Indian/Alaska Native. Contact our office to find out if your child qualifies.
Most vaccine visits take 15–30 minutes, including a brief 15-minute observation period after receiving the vaccine to monitor for any reactions.
Yes, in most cases you can receive multiple vaccines during a single visit. Our nursing staff will review your records and discuss the best approach for your health needs.
Yes, we have bilingual staff and translation resources available. Please let us know when you call or arrive if you would prefer assistance in Spanish or another language.
