For awareness, we wanted to share a recall announcement from the CDC Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program regarding Great Value brand fruit cocktail with fruit juice. While there was no distribution in Nebraska, there was a distribution pattern in a neighboring state.

We would like to inform you of the recall of 15-ounce cans of Great Value brand fruit cocktail with fruit juice from concentrate. Walmart distributed these products, which are being recalled because they might contain elevated levels of lead. More information about this recall is available from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

NNPHD encourages you to share this information with your family, friends, neighbors, and anyone that may be impacted. Thank you!
