Accessing health care in a rural community can be challenging due to limited providers, long travel distances, and fewer specialized services. It can be difficult get the care you need when you need it.

Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department (NNPHD) is here to help by ensuring everyone has access to equitable, culturally appropriate health care. We can:
- Guide you on how and where to get the care you need
- Connect you with doctors, nurses, health coaches, and other professionals who understand and respect your needs.
- Explain your insurance options so you can make informed decisions about your health care without feeling overwhelmed.
- Offer wellness programs and services that prioritize your health and safety. Provide clear, easy-to-understand health information in multiple languages, ensuring it meets the needs of our communities.
